.... I must admit, I was dead wrong when I named this
bass guitar line: Basic™ ...

When I decided to call my introductory or initial line of basses Basic™ I did not realize that many bass players would take the word ‘basic’ so seriously. For me it was just a way to differentiate these fine basses from the fancier line of instruments I’m widely know for as well all over the world.

With time I have seen many bass players opting for my higher range of basses because they thought that this Basic™ series meant... well, too 'basic'.

But don´t be fooled by the name!

Actually this bass sounds awesome, plays and performs like my higher priced instruments, but let’s say, with a more simple yet still elegant look.

We use the same quality woods, the same building process, the same components such as pickups, bridge, preamp etc... exactly like our higher line of basses. So the quality of these basses are without any doubt equal to our highest lines.

The experience of Jerzy Drozd in building ERB (Extended Range Bass), can be found in the sustain and the growl of the E string: it plays wonderful and is always defined.

All the four strings plays great, especially with chords or tapping: but the pleasure that i have playing the E string pushes me to play more notes on this string instead of the other three...

Then I'm really enjoying the maple fretboard: it's very clear and brilliant with treble. It's ideal for slapping and tapping .....
