JERZY DROZD Excellency V 56511 creation was completed and handed over to its original purchaser on 20 December 2011. He kept it until late August of this year 2015, when he brought it to THE BIRD RESTORE CENTRE to turn it into a JERZY DROZD HIGH SOCIETY in order to put it on sale.

This instrument belonged just to a single owner, the original proprietor who acquired it directly at JERZY DROZD.

The proprietor left to the discretion of master Jerzy Drozd the complete restoration of the instrument. For this creacion, master Drozd decided to undertake a METAMORPHOSIS.

Originally, JERZY DROZD Excellency V 56511 featured black hardware, Cherry Red satin finish, Acer saccharum JERZY DROZD emblem on headstock, JeD5XS v2.2 pickups with Acer saccharum covers, simple Acer saccharum knobs and black fretboard side dots.

After Metamorphosis - that was carried out entirely by master Drozd and finished on 9 December 2015 - JERZY DROZD Excellency V 56511 turned into a JERZY DROZD HIGH SOCIETY Creation, a redivivus, distinct and completely new work of art. A genuine JERZY DROZD, on pristine condition, with original JERZY DROZD parts and that meet JERZY DROZD stric quality requirements.

To acquire the HIGH SOCIETY insignia each and every part was replaced by master Jerzy Drozd by a new original part: fretboard was refretted, preamp was changed for a new Aguilar OBP3 preamp, electronic cavity was electromagnetically shielded again, last generation JERZY DROZD pickups with Machaerium scleroxylon covers were installed instead the old ones, the simple Acer saccharum original knobs were replaced by new JERZY DROZD Crystal Dom Knobs matching pickups, a new JERZY DROZD two pieces bridge was custom made for this special creation, new tuners, new potentiometers, new selectors, new nut, every single screw was substituted by precision stainless steel screws...

The master has also taken into careful consideration each aesthetic detail.The finish has been completely restored: the original Cherry Red satin finish was completely removed and the bare wood reappeared. Master Jerzy Drozd applied then his exclusive JERZY DROZD Briolette finish - name given to this finish because of its extreme similarity in transparency and brightness with the famous diamond - in a vibrant Onyx Black translucent colour wich allows to clearly see the exquisite  grain of the Acer saccharum flamed wood top.

The instrument hardware - bridge, tailpiece, tuners, back plate - and other metallic details, such as neck screws at the back of the instrument, were conceived by master Drozd as real brushstrokes of light that converse with the whiteness of the inlays on JERZY DROZD Crystal Dome Knobs and of the new JERZY DROZD emblem that crowns the headstock, both made on Pinctada Margaritífera.

The watchful eye will come to rest on the bronze engravings that can be appreciatte in various parts of this creation.

Transported by the Helenic serenity of the whole, the musician will envisage himself as transparent, on a majestic night wing, over the untouched beauty of this shining architecture, into a kind of fullness.
